Hey guys I found this on line and was wondering if this is a good deal and its a good clutch etc ..

Its a Findanza 2.1 Clutch Kit

I can add 2g shifter bushings for $25, and 2g SS Clutch line for $19

"Combine carbon and kevlar, give them a steel backing and you have the most durable and longest lasting street clutch available. Fidanza engineered the torsion damper and marcel cushion to engage smoothly yet quickly. Perfect for the daily drivers. We recommend this disc to those who drive their vehicle every day, in all conditions. This is great for a quick car with bolt on power.

We highly recommend installing new Torque Solution Shifter Bushings and SS Clutch line to get the best performance and longevity out of your clutch installation."

Its from sandrperformance, and heres a link. Let me no if this is good and what its rated for or if its a good product.

DSM noob its all good I was just making sure LOL

Alright so say if I go with the 3.2 what flywheel would any of you recommend me getting? Im not planning on putting a bunch of hp into this right now. My main priorities are paying this baby off and having insurance and loan payments for it set back just in case something would happen (knock on wood) So with that in mind what flywheel do you think I should look into

Or same goes with the 2.1. And knowing that Im not going to be going mod crazy on this... would you recommend me getting the 2.1 or the 3.2... Because Im still not sure

Can anyone help me out I want to get this things ordered soon

just get the same brand as whatever clutch pack you end up using, all the reputable brands are good quality, also 4g63's are internally balanced, so you do not need to worry about the lighter flywheel screwing that up, the only issue with a lighter flywheel would be more posibility of stalling the motor on medium / soft launches, because the lighter flywheel is well; lighter it will cause the engine to lose momentum faster, just as it will allow you to rev a little faster.
if that all makes any sense LOL

The 3.2 will be a pretty grippy if you don't plan on building much on the HP side of things, but still drivable as a DD. The 2.1 is an easier driver, the engagement won't be as stiff as the 3.2, and I'm sure you'll love it with the their flywheel, but of course it won't be able to hold much more HP over the stock one. If you have some idea of where you want to end up with you're car, go the the appropiate clutch as they're expensive and just a hassle to change.
I couldn't find the specs on the 2.1 or the 3.2 because Fidanza has recently moved to a new V1 and V2 line. I just installed a fidanza V2 (similar to the 4.3) with the aluminium flywheel on my GSX and love it. Takes a little getting used to over the stock clutch by means of chatter and it's pretty close to on/off, but there is a noticable difference in the weight. Acceleration is much faster, as well as engine breaking. The rpms do drop much quicker between shifts because of the reduced momentum, but that doesn't really matter.

Enjoy the clutch.

ah im lost LOL. I cant make a decision... I just found another site that has act clutchs pretty cheap I think.

Im planning on paying my car off first before I do any big hp mods, but I want a clutch that will last a good while, and that doesnt chatter. If its a little bit stiffer than stock thats okay, but as I do daily drive this I dont want my left leg to look like popeyes arm LOL. The highest amount of hp I see myself going as of now would be 350hp tops for a while. I dont know if thats any better information for you guys or not I just really dont no what to look for and I really dont want to order the wrong one and have to send it back or have to replace it in a couple years.

For Whatever you get it will depend on how you drive it, will also determine the life, had my act for many years and im sure it will last years to come, not dd driver though.

You need to keep in mind for ever bad story you hear, there are many more successful ones. So take it as a grain of salt. (pretty sure that's quoted from the Fidanza merged thread)

Also, I should specify... The clutch pedal pressure on the Fidanza V2 and the 4.3 that I've owned are slightly more then stock, however both are much touchier/grippier.

Also, if you're shifting at 2500.... doesn't your engine BOG when you try to accelerate in the next gear? I shift at a min of 3000, but then again, i'm a GSX

This is the only thing I hate about buying things LOL. Because anything I find that has a bad review I dont really want it and it seems like they all have quite a few bad reviews about something going bad with them...

Every company out there has stuff that will break occasionally, and you only hear about the ones that do. (And most of the time it ends up being due to user error). It's just the way it is, so you can't rely on a few horror stories.

Don't pay too much attention to the guy that drops the clutch at 6000 rpms at every stop light and then complains about so and so's clutch being garbage. Instead, look at how long companies have been around and talk to knowledgeable people who actually run their products and stand behind them.

yea, i agree with dude above that said to just go with one thats been around for awhile, my current tsi is automatic (soon to be fitted with a manual valvebody) but like someone above him said, the bigger and high hp clutches are chattery and more like an on off switch LOL, so you may want to stay away from them for a dd, pointless anyway unless your making mad hp, just call the companys and talk to the sales reps, beleive it or not, most of the sales reps, for places that also take alot of custom orders like clutch companies, know what theyre talkin about.
