Is this a 2nd Gen manifold?

The gasket and manifold don't line up (as you will see in the pics) but i am assured my mitsubishi that the gasket is for a 89-99 Eclipse GSX 4G63 blah blah (he said they were all the same, plus two guys who know a lot said they were too) this is not Satans fault because they tried more than one gasket and they were all the same. What can i do? Can I just bolt through it? it looks like it woudl seal.

Well i saw the guys at Mitsu handling it, and he turned it around. Maybe he like flipped it around so that it was actually the same way. Odd how ALL 4 OF US put it up to the mani the wrong way.
