I think it's a good deal if you know what to do the swap yourself or know of somebody who can do it for a reasonable price. If it is close to you, take a look at it and see if there is anything else wrong with it.

I wouldnt do it...Its not like there are built internals or anything. Both engines are out? who knows if the motors are even good. If the car was running then yes, personally I wouldnt even consider it. Id do it for 1500.

You never know the real condition of the engines unless you have abuild sheet from a engine builder w/ dyno info. Plus the time and money to do the swap, if you dont know how. I wouldnt pay more than 1500 either.

So... i went and looked at it this morning cause he dont live to far, about an hour or so, and everything seems to be fine. the 6bolt is all complete and looks brand new, the seven bolt is taken apart but apears to be in good shape. the interior is super nice power everything (exept seats). only thing i see wrong with it is nothing! he even showed me the reciepts for the tranny and engine and just tho's 2 cost over 3500! and the engine has 67k.

There could be too many things wrong with it. Buying a non-running car is suicide.

If you know how to swap in the motor it will be a good buy but if you dont you have to get somebody to install it that will probaly cost about 1500...
