Hey group, I wanted to get some input on the advantages and disadvantages of thermal coating, especifically piston tops.

Some will say an advantage would be decreased heat temperatures thus helping to eliminate heat spots on the piston tops.

Others have mentioned that our pistons are designed to heat soak thus slightly causing the piston to flex (increase/decrease) - obviously this is an action that would be affected by the thermal coating.

I welcome all input, data, and personal experience you may have on this topic. Thanks.
