is there supposed to be a rhythm with the TDC sensor?

..my car is running like shit and i cant figure out why...timing is perfect, getting spark, getting fuel but it sounds like its missing....i noticed on the logger my tdc sensor is kinda wiggin out... itll go on, off then blink twice waits a second or 3 then blinks once...no steady rhythm to it at all....whats it supposed to look like? :confused:
 
I would think that it would stay constant with the engine RPM, if you rev the motor it will pulse faster, I hope you are talking about the CAS correct?
 
timing will bounce alot at idle +/- a few degrees.
i dont know whats your talking about with the on/off on the logger as ive never seen a 1g logger.
