I really just need a cut and dry answer as to what would be the max injector size for DSMLink. I read that tuning for idle or cruise becomes a lil issue when going bigger than 1600's or so, this does not bother me as the car is not my DD. The plan is to run e85 with a HX40 at first, but swap to 6262 or HTA3586, looking at max air flow around 70 to 75 lbs/min. I'll have all the supporting mods just wanna know how big can i go, thanks.

You asked for the max injector size; and those would be as big as you'd need without going to a dual-rail setup (I don't recall anyone running anything bigger in a single rail, or if bigger drop-ins even exist for that matter). And, all sources say they are about the nicest injectors available right now.

You can put as big as you want and most common are the 1600cc and the 2100. I use 1000cc with link and tried 1600 but didn't like the way it idled. As you said you don't care about that so then just get as big as you can afford.

If you get 2150's you'd never have to upgrade injectors again, which is a good thing. You may consider getting the full version of ECMLink though, since it might be tough to tune them on pump gas without individual deadtime capability.

...and they look nice. :sneaky:

your right you got me..i did say max size, i was under the assumption that there was limit with DSMLink. As i see that there is not, you guys have helped me out greatly and answered my questions. Thanks for the quick replys, i got a good deal on some 1650's so thats what i'll be running.:thumb:

ECMLink can handle whatever injectors you throw at it (especially the full version as Corey mentioned). With that in mind, you need to size your injectors based on fuel type and how much air you plan on flowing.

This article will help with that, if you haven't seen it already: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/art...or-max-lb-min-calculations.html#post151092426

Also, don't forget to take pump voltage and total pressure (base + boost) into account when sizing the fuel pump(s).

Yes sir been trying to dig through info all night, thanks for the link also. The 2g i'm gettin has v3lite right now imma upgrade to full before i install the injectors. I've been reading up on DSMLink for years now and it has proven to be a really nice tuning system, can't wait to dig into it. I've been tuning with the Diablo Predator on my SRTneon for the past few years and that thing is like childs play compared to Link, ready to step it up.

1600cc injectors and bigger will be a lot harder to get a good idle out of on pump gas, even with dsmlink.
