I found this kit.
4G63 4G63T 2.0 DOHC Timing Belts & Bearings KIT Mitsubishi and Hyundai

I have heard many positive reviews about this kit and the vendor. OEM kit is about 377. This kit is less than 90 bucks shiipped. I know its been beaten to death, but I would Like to see what some wiseman say about it. Im in college and on a budget.

My water pump siezed up on me So I am gna do the whole timing belt and water pump replacement.

The only reason I am even considering it is because of the rave reviews I have seen on here about it. The brand is said to be the same as OEM , even comes in OEM box.

Any and all feeback is appreciated. I am gna order by monday so Have a few days to make up my mind. Thanks for the time guys.

I've used his parts many times. Never had any problems. Fast service, usually name brands. Never bought this particular kit, but wouldn't have any qualms about buying it.

"OEM" doesn't mean it's as good as the original part, it just means it's meant to fit and perform like the original part. Key word there is meant, they are rarely on par with actual OE equipment. Companies like Master Pro make "OEM" belts that I wouldn't trust to hold up my pants let alone hold my engine together.

My advice would be to get a Gates component kit from your local Oreilly's. It's around $130 for everything that kit comes with, except the parts are truly OE equivalent in terms of quality. List: Timing Belt Component Kit - 1992 Mitsubishi Eclipse | O'Reilly Auto Parts

PCI, made in USA, is not the same as Mitusbishi, made in Japan. You're only a few thousand miles off.

On the partsdinosaur site, it says the timing belt is made by Gates, but it doesn't look like it to me.

This is ideally what you should get, note that it says "HNBR", which is what true OEM belts are made of.

I purchased all of my timing components from PartsDinosaur and I was very pleased with everything. I did however purchase the Gates HP belt instead of the standard belt which was a little bit more money.
