If u plan on upgrading your fuel system i would say yes rewire it. It wont hurt to rewire it. You will just have high rail pressure making the injector spray a little more fuel. Do u have a wideband?

i dont have a afpr or wideband but there use to be a wideband and dsmlink in this car before i bought it but the previous owner needed it for his other car but he tuned the car with link and wideband. but then he had a custom made chip installed from the info he got off the tune when he used link.

is it possible since its not rewired it causes the car not to start up right away? do i really need to rewire it or its ok how it is now? if i plan on adding a afpr then i will rewire it. its tuned at 20psi and it doesnt break up or have any misfires so i think the tune is pretty accurate on it now with the chip.

so you guys are 100% sure my fuel pump is not rewired from the pictures?

I did get it rewired months ago with a stm rewired kit.. I mean is it better rewired then not rewired even if you have stock fpr? I heard it will help a lil more is that true?

rewiring simply gives the pump more amperage because there is much less resistance in the wire you put compared to the factory one. some have said they only saw ~10V at the pump with factory wiring but with a rewire, the pump will see 13.5~14.5V.
