Got t boned but wanted to know what everyone thinks, is it totaled it drives but I can't get to a shop yet cause of no registration not to sure if it's worth fixing. The frame under the car doesn't look bent except on the side that the side skirt attatches is bent in right below the door. Any advice frome anyone who's had similar is appreciated.

Ouch. That doesn't look good at all. IF you were to ask an insurance company Im sure they would mark it as totaled cause the cost to fix all that would be way more than the car is worth. The only way to tell if the frame is bent is to get it checked out by a professional. Good luck that looks like a lot of work to get the car back to normal.

When the pic first came up I thought, ohh It looks like just a door and the rear quarter panel..Then I scrolled down..That doesn't look good at all man..It's very sad to see that happen..Glad your ok though..

If the car is not registered, I doubt you have insurance..But I hope I'm wrong..

If you can get hooked up with aparts car like said before and have a shop that can hook you up, you might be okay.

What i would do is find an AWD shell and just swap everything over it will be a hell of alot cheaper than fixing that one would be. I saw a shell on craigslist for about $700 and it was in mint condition. You will be looking at about $2500 in just repairs.

It's probably totalled. My '95 SL1 got smashed in the rear late this past January and the insurance company was quick to total it out even though I have insurance and it was the other driver's fault. They just ran the value of the car (things like condition, mileage, and age all go into consideration) against how much it'd cost to fix. I think when the cost of repairs hit 75% of the car's value is when they declare it a total loss (not sure though). But, I told them I was keeping it since I'm going to end up fixing it.

I got lucky though and found the quarter panels, trunk, and bumper at a local junkyard in the same color as my car. Had a fella locally cut a trunk floor off a wrecked one so, all that's left is to have a body shop cut the crap off and weld the goodness on and then I'll do the rest. I spent about $220 on parts and another $225 on the trunk floor piece; both purchases were great deals.

With that said, I have no clue how much my repairs will cost, but it doesn't really matter. The car has sentimental value to me so when it comes to it, money is just like whatever. Plus, I usually get a bit of a discount from the place I go so, it helps a bit.

If anything, it's worth seeing how much a shop would charge you to do the work. Just keep in mind any parts you provide and/or work you do yourself is less work/parts they gotta do which will usually save up some money.

Just get a shell thats stripped without tranny or anything and swap all the parts out of this one to the other.. Much cheaper then fixing and safer too.
IDK about your area but Shells around Idaho go for around 500 ive seen a 97 for 250 once but the guy was desperate to get it out of the driveway..

If you could get it on a frame rack it wouldn't be too hard to fix. Otherwise, it's essentially a write-off.

looks like the repair work would run you over 6g to fix that. what i would do is call up a junk yard like B&R or something and ask them how much a left quarter panel and rocker panel plus a door would cost then go to a automotive place and ask if they have a spot weld cutter and buy it to drill all the spot welds on the rocker and quarter but make sure to only go throught the outer skin and you will also need a flat bar that is ground to a point on the end and the tip of one side to help seperate the sheet metal where the spot welds are using a hammer on the bar. then all you have to do is weld the new skin in. you should be able to fix the car much cheaper that way. it sounds like a pain an the a$$ but its not too bad. I've done it a few times it the body shop i work at

With how damaged it is, it needs to have frame pulls done to put things back into alignment before replacing panels.

mine was way worse than that, my door panel was touching the center console! It was fixed by piecing 2 together but now i got a salvaged title.
