Is it safe to drive with little injector leak

I just reinstalled my stock 450s and drove it down to see my girlfriend an hour away. For the first 30min of driving, the car was fine with no leak. After getting gas, my car started smelling. I can see the second fuel injector leaking a little from the insulator, which I just replaced. Is it still safe for me to drive it back 1 hour back home to get it fix? I'm stuck and have a QUIZ today.

you wont blow up but i wouldnt drive it just cause your probly not getting the correct amount of fuel since there is a leak at the rail and its no longer pressurized.

Honestly,

I would never advise anyone to drive a car with a fuel leak......especially with it in the engine area.

The consensus recommends fixing the leaky injector. Just take off the fuel rail, remove leaking injector, remove the bad seal, oil the new one up and reinstall the injector. Jumper out the fuel pump relay test point under the hood and look for leaks.

10 minute job. Pull the isolator and flip it over.

I left my car behind and took grayhound. It looks like leaking from the top part of injectors, maybe the o-ring. I just bought a kit of $16 at Shucks. Comes with insulator, o-ring and that other rubber piece. I will work on it next weeken when I greyhound there.

This doesn't mean my injectors are bad right?

One more thing, when installing the injectors. Can I oil the insulators and place them into the holes first, because I really hated when I flip the rail over with injectors on it to get it install. Those dam insulator keeps falling off into the engine and they disapear.
