i suppose so if you have a bad plug wire... thats about the only way...could be a bad coil too but doubtful
 
yeah, i did that for about a week when i was waiting for my new plugs to come in the mail. it was only for short trips though... is it possible? yes. is it a good thing to do? no. the car also runs like shit when you are only firing on 3 cylinders.
 
Yeah its not good to do, a number of serious problems can come up. It can randomly misfire/pre-detonate which could cost you a rod bearing or you could develop fuel wash which is not bearing firendly either.
 
it is possible...if u have any doubts if you are firing on less then 4 cylinders, i would probably park the car until you clear those doubts.
 
you will know if your car is only on 3 cylinders... the car will sound like its got a rediculous cam.
