is it leaking boost from here??

ok today i took my car out and i noticed that it was missing something off the turbo like the little brass bracket that raps around the turbo.will it leak alot of boost from here?? and another spot i took my manifold off cause i thought it may be that.that was leaking and i noticed there was a couple of nail sized cracks around the waste gate flap and the housing itself has a couple..anyways the car runs real weak it spools up to 8 but it sounds like an open dump thats sucking air..could those couple things be were my boost problems are at???

That brass clamp holds intake side to the exhaust side of your turbo together, better get on that bro.

Look up jusmx141 tell him you need a vband clamp for a 14b if your a manual tranny and a 13g if your auto. He should be able to hook you up. I got a vband and actuator for the 14b from him this week. I WOULDNT DRIVE THE CAR until you get that clamp. The only thing holding the turbo on is gravity and probably the intake piping. If that thing comes loose your going to destroy the impeller or worse on that turbo

holy shit realy thanks guys that must be what i heard drop a couple days ago but its on there tight rite now im guessin the waste gate actuator must be holdin it on cause its not loose i jus can here the turbo making a scratching sound like its scratching the turbine against metal...i need a good exhaust side of the 14b to caue mine has all kinds of cracks in it?any ideas of somebody that would just sell that ??

wow i wish it was still for sale.hopefully this one i get tommorow for 40 if the deal goes through has less cracks than the one i got now cause the on i have has cracks big enought to stick my finger nail completly in them
