Is it a sensor, if so which will cause this?

Since cold weather is kicking in. My car is jerking in the morning. Not only that when it gets to operating temp it also jerks and knocks a lot (about 20-40 counts)
Which leads me to something temp related. I thought it was my coolant temp sensor so I changed it. Car still does the same thing.
Any ideas so I can go about diagnosing it.

Ops, my bad. o2 sensor is a new innovate o2 wideband installed about 3 months ago. Jerking could be cause by plugs and wire but it seems fine. I just gap them a few minutes ago. Still at .28.

Im not sure what you mean by cut off. But I did experience this.

my 99 GSX (175k miles) does this as well, after checking fuel, wires, plugs, knock sensor, the lot. I still ended up with no root cause.
so I tossed a bottle of sea foam at it. half in the tank, half sucked through the intake. Cleared up the knock issue, and the morning jerks as she came up to temp.
been doing this no more than once a year for the last 4,
its not a clean fix. I really don't much care for snake oil solutions. but it works. and its $10.
at 180k I might learn more as I will dismantle it.

I ran seafoam before i change to the o2 sensor. In the manifold and a little in the gas tank. It still runs the same.

Make absolute sure your power transistor is plugged all the way in. If it is, check any and all wiring at both the power transistor and cam angle sensor. My car did this when my transistor became unplugged, and also when the CAS wires had become so old and brittle that they cracked the insulation and shorted on each other.
