Is interiorpaint good stuff?

Hi. Do someone here have experience with interior or carpet paint? My carpet on the doorsides does not match the rest of my new interior so I am wondering if I should paint them black with Interiorpaint? Is this good stuff? Will It last?

Im not skilled to recover it, so I hoped that painting it with paint for carpets would do the job..

You can but it won't be soft and smooth anymore.

You can paint them with fabric/vinyl paint, but like phunny says, its not gonna be smooth anymore.

You could order new carpet from ebay..It might take a bit of cutting but, will be new and cean..
