Hello everyone, I took advantage of FP Black Friday Sale and bought the new FP Red turbo, but I have not yet installed the turbo due to still buying supporting mods. I’m interested in knowing, is anyone running one and what kind of numbers are they putting down and your opinion on it. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

My profile is updated with all the parts purchased

Nice pics! Got any of the wastegate actuator? I'm wondering what would be the best level of boost to run on this thing? I'm going to max it out as I have the motor and supporting mods to do so.

Does anyone have the flow chart or power curve for this specific turbo? I would like to know more about it. Wouldn't such a large setup cause lag?

Friend has one in his galant basic tune 20psi and it sure doesn't hesitate to spin all 4 tires. I think it's a great turbo if you can get it I would.

Got my fp red installed and It feels about like my e316g felt @ 30+psi @ 20psi. Cant wait to get this thing tuned! Shooting for 500+ whp on revolutions dyno tuned by Servion.

just installed my FP Red a couple days ago. Its the old school 60-1 compressor tho not the new on. was told it was a laggy turbo but it starts to spool by 3200 rpm and im at 16lbs by 4000rpm. Low boost for the turbo i know. I cant wait to turn it up to around 20-25 lbs when i get link and a new clutch.

Yesterday I had my car dyno tuned By Servion @ Revolutions performance here in Colorado springs, Colorado. The best we could get out of the car was 462.5 AWHP. This was with one of the revolutions guys holding the wastegate flapper shut with huge pry bar LOL. Made 37 psi but we were running out of fuel @ 95% duty cycle on fic 1650cc injectors and walbro 400 pump. We were only able to get 29psi out of the wastegate actuator before it blows open and that put down 427.5 AWHP with an 85%idc and safe afr. The car feels pretty live and I'm happy with the turbo and car as a whole. I was looking to make 500 awhp on the "Heartbreaker" Dyno dynamics dyno And I think it will get close once upgraded fuel system and better boost control are in place. Just to put it in perspective the 462.5 awhp on this dyno is equivalent to 517 awhp on a dyno jet.

It was really lean and I'm still on a stock throttle body, intake, unported turbine housing and unported evo 3 o2 housing.

Yea the turbo has more in it for sure. Im looking for a tubular o2 housing with an external wastegate and probably add another walbro 400lph pump and It should be close to 500 on the dyno dynamics

Took the car to the track but the timing lights for the quarter mile were broken so only 3, 1/8 mile passes were made. Car Never 60 ft'd very well due to the launch control being set at 8mph instead of 4mph. And botching the 1-2 shift. Still trapped pretty well for a full weight gvr4 @ 6500 ft density altitude. Looking to go over 100mph in the 1/8 and high 10 second 1/4 mile once a punishment racing o2 housing and external wastegate are installed.

I dont own the car any more. The turbo blew up 3 days after I sold the car. The turbo only had 1000 miles on it.
