Is an 02 eliminator asking for trouble?

Hey, I just searched through a dozen threads all talking about pros and cons of o2 eliminators exhausts like form RNR. I'm going to purchase a SS 3" turbo back from RNR soon, for my Sypder GS-T.
My question is is it worth it to me to get the 02 elim. exhaust? and not just a turbo back? My main concern is boost creep. The car is all stock, T-25 turbo, everything, but I would like to avoid boost creep with this turbo and any others I may upgrade to like and EVO 16g.
So is it wise to hold off on the o2 elim.? I also hear they're a pain in the ass to install.

Any input would be awesome. Thanks!

Just one more question before I head off to work. If I decide to get an RNR 3" turbo back (not o2 elim.) will the exhaust still bolt right up to my stock o2 housing? Cause if it won't I'd be a little fuxored.
Thanks! :thumb:

I don't know a lot about the o2 eliminator DP's, but if you get one make sure you can apply it to whatever turbo you upgrade to. After you get an o2 elim DP, you will only be able to upgrade the turbo for what the DP will bolt onto unless you want to buy a new DP (or have it modified to fit).

still got a CAT ? if so it may be of some help -- if not, turbo back exhuast is more then enough for a t25

Yeah, I'd be purchasing the RNR turbo back with their high flow cat. And I believe the o2 elim. hooks up to T25, 14b's and 16g's as well. So that part is under control.
But will an all 3" turbo back (no o2 elim.) match up to my stock o2 housing?

Thanks for the replies!

if they will bolt up to the stock o2 housing. The flanges are turned/angled to bolt right up. Some DP's are made to bolt to specific o2 housings because I know some are different but usually the mfg will tell you that. If it's full 3' make sure that you have room with the oil filter. I got a 3' dp coming and already put in an evo oil filter b/c many have said the ones for T/E/L are to bulky to fit so we'll see

Cool! thanks!

Yeah I'm gonna go ahead and order the turbo-back, cause i dont want o2 housing issues at this point are freak out about boost creep. And I"ll make sure to pick up that evo oil fiter you mentioned.

Thanks!
