Is a staged(not all at once) fuel sys upgrade ok?

You CAN tune 660's with an SAFC, but with a 255lph it will overrun the stock regulator and you wont be able to control your fuel trims...

All and all, it's best to have a full fuel system. Injectors / SAFC or Link / FPR that lets you go up or down / fuel pump and rewire.

Neg rep points he left for you dont really apply untill he gets enough himself. And with his attitude, I dont think he will ever get that many.

Anyways, I have run 650's with just an afc on my 1g without ill effects so I do have room to speak(remember, experience?) If I can do it on a 1g with no problems, it will be easy to do on a 2g.

92 what was your full set up at the time? screwing with fuel pressure? timing?

And a little more EXPERIENCE, I ran 650s with no chip for a while at stock fuel pressure using the MAFT only. No problems. I also installed and tuned another friends car with just Denso 680s and the MAFT since he's waiting on an eprom ecu and it works just fine. Both of these are 2Gs.
 
i dont doubt the 2g's can handle it mister experience.
