Ok guys i bought a 30 dollar boost gauge off ebay about 2 weeks ago, because mine broke. I have been reading a big thread out there about cheap knock off BOV. Every seems to say that the $80 one works just as good as the $200 one. So my question is, does any one know if the cheap boost gauges are just as good as the $150 gauges. It seems to work just fine giving the same reading as the old one, but i want to know if anyone has had some bad ones. Thanks

i bought a boost gauge from glowshift off ebay a while ago and it works awesome if it was me i would do it again, a gauge is a gauge just check to see if the caliberation is exact, meaning when the car is shut off it should be at exactly zero. the caliberation was off for me so i emailed the company and they said they would send me a new one and pay for the shipping of the old one. and the gauge looks great better than the autometer phantom or any other series i have seen so far from them and it only cost me $30. ebay is a great place to get those kind of parts for your car but i wouldnt recommend getting inatkes, intercoolers, and other higher end stuff UNLESS it comes from a highly reputable seller.

I would have just spent an extra 10 Bux and went with the Autometer Boost gauge. I got it with no problems.

I ran a cheap-o ebay gauge for about 2 or 3 months that I bought for 20$ and it worked fine. I ran 15psi exactly on it, then I bought my autometer and hooked it up, and it was at 15psi on the mark.. so they're pretty accurate as far as mine was concerned.

thanks for the info guys, does any one know if different types of gauges r just as good, so like the oil temp gauge and stuff like that.
thanks again
