irratic timing, maybe coil?

So car seems to be surging below 3k an sometimes above 5500 kinda like timing to low or detonation. Timing lite shows it bouncing between 5_10 btdc at idle but thats not a true base reading i know but problem is my timing lite is showing an irratic flashing during its normal pattern. Whats causing all this?
Plugs are bpr6es @26,15psi spike fall to 10. Plugs look ok but lines on cyl1 like a very very small bit of moisture at some point or from the inj cleaner through vac line twice and tank.

I would also look at the timing light. Is it an adjustable timing light? I know on mine it jumps around a lot when setting timing if i don't push the RPM/Timing advance button. Just a thought.

Plug wires are 10.2mm.none bad.
Regular timing lite and it wasnt doing it on the chevy truck i was working on for someone earlier in the day, nor has it ever that ive seen.
Added a 8g ground from firewall to tb. Seemed to help although coulda just been the cool air at night.
Cel has popped on before but went out.stored maf code.changed it but no difference.

Regarding the timing light, it may not be picking up properly, depending on the wires or proximity to other spark wires. For your surge, BLT and start testing/swapping ignition components. Check wiring for breaks, frays, or bad connections, especially to key components like the MAS and coils.

To add, yes, I had to reread that four times to even begin to understand what you are talking about.
If you're not going to spend the time to properly convey the issue using proper spelling and grammar, what makes you think anybody should spend the time to diagnose and help you out?

Your grammar is an issue if we can't understand the problem you are having and therefore can't give good, specific advice.

Also, it is just lazy and, as stated above, why should we bother to help someone who can't take 5 seconds to use the spell check function.

The ECU uses ignition timing and ISC position to control idle speed. If you have a surging idle speed, the ECU is working double to try and adjust timing in order to maintain proper speed. A MAS issue can cause surge as well. To get a steady idle timing value the ECU must be in base timing adjust mode.

Log ISC position, if it's at 0 or 60 you have an issue with either a vac leak, the BISS setting, the TB, TPS or the ISC itself. Timing should swing somewhere in between 0-15 degrees at 750rpm idle. Is your front O2 cycling between 0.2-0.8?

At idle, the ECU will fluctuate timing between 5-12* depending on readings that is receiving from various sensors (i.e. ISC, MAS etc.)
This is a completely normal function.

But the way you explained it with the timing light is confusing.
