I need to know if a factory internal wastegate from a Big T28 (I know T28 isn't stock) will fit onto a16g. I know the mounting brackets are different and that shouldn't be an issue as I'm a sheet metal fabricator. Are the actuators the same or nearly the same? This isn't for me, but rather a fellow DSMer who doesn't have a wastegate on his 16g, and I have a spare T28 actuator and just want to help out if it will work.

The question is then, why not just grab a mhi WG from the classifieds? Make sure you ask tho if the new to you WG is ebay or mhi..It's only 1 thing to mod, but that way you'll know you need to mod the hole on the arm if it's an ebay wg..

But..If you had the t28 wg, It was worth a shot to ask so..That's food for thought..

I didn't know the arms were different lengths. Good to know before attempting this. I don't mind doing a lot of custom work, but it sounds like the arm length would be an issue. Will keep this simple and have the friend get the right actuator.
