You would use a boost controller.
So it would automatically go off at whatever level I have the boost set at? That's cool.

You should really do alot of reading so you can understand exactly how everything (i.e. turbo, wastegate, BOV, boost controller) works together. Knowing that will help you out immensely.
Good luck with the military. I enjoy it. What branch?
At least you are making progress then. Just find anything basic that will help you get an understanding. If you are a visual learner then go to HowStuffWorks.com and look up how a turbos system works. Even that will give you the basics and it is very visual.
Also, once you get your turbo you will see how the internal waste gate is and you will be able to get a better understanding.
I have found that there is no replacement for hands on visual learning. No matter how much reading you do, the best thing is to be getting the experience.
Dude, I'm in intelligence. If you are a hands on person, DO NOT come into intelligence. We jus sit infront of computers all day. We're called powerpoint rangers.
