I am working on the inside of my talon taking everything extra i don't need out .. I am building a street/strip build so the only thing inside I want to keep is the heat.. I have pretty much cleaned everything visually out that I could think of.. I'd like to strip any extra harness out of the, and behind the dash. Also any a/c or cruise control components. If you have any input that can help me identify what's removable I'd greatly appreciate it!! Also where can I get a carbon fiber sunroof plug?

So do u only wansystemo keep what is needed to be street legal? Cause if your not going thatt extreme, its gonna depend on your personal preference. I

Here is are some examples of what you could do

-remove all panels and covers
-remove all the seats except drivers
-remove all the seatbelt components, add an4 or 5 point harness to drivers seat
-remove stereo, amp, speakers, power antenna
-remove rear wiper system
-remove spare tire and cover (hatch floor panel)
-remove carpet and the padding ( insulation) underneath it
-remove the SRS system (airbags, SRS ECU, impact sensors)
-remove glovebox, console, visors

Since you want a working heater, I would just leave the hvac stuff under the dash

Man, if only this site had been around since 2002 and other 2g owners had already done this so there was more info out there about it. Oh, wait... :aha:

Seriously, need to consider searching for you answers before posting something up. You'll be SURPRISED that 99.9% of every question that has been asked has also been answered 100x too.
