Interior replacement

I just purchased a black/grey eagle talon tsi awd with leather interior and was wondering what is the average cost of replacing the seats with cloth seats from either a junk yard or other source and the typical cost of replacing the carpet ....... im just want to see what some of you have paid so i can know if the guy at the junk yard is giving a good price and pease keep in mind if this is a post that already has been answered then forgive me ....this is my first post and i will be researching as much as possible

what is wrong with the leather? I usually hear people buying leather and putting it in, not taking it out. If you have a pick-n-pull or pull-a-part, where you pull the part yourself, you can expect to pay less than 50, I want to say we got the front seats, back seats, and carpet for 45 dollars here in Oklahoma.

yea i agree but the seats in the front are chewed up especially the driver side and the seats are a white/cream color which makes it worse....the car it self is in great shape for what i bought it for and im going to update the mods that were on it when i got it ....you won't believe what i paid for the car (1,000) with GReddy turbo timer, S-AFC super air flow controler, 3inch cat-less exhaust and 16inch after market rims(scrapped up some) this is what i found so far..one more thing, is there somewhere i can get the carpet other than a junk yard(im almost sure this is a dumb question)

I am sure ebay has some, though it may not be the best fit. Also you might try Jnztuning.com, they can usually get anything you need!

By the way, if you have a carpet out of a car you can take it to the car wash or powerwash it. It will look much better not to mention save you time from trying to scrub carpet clean by hand. I usually spray it down with simplegreen or spray-n-wash. Let that soak for about ten min, then spray it clean, and hang it over a fence to dry.

thanks for the advise. i will be going to a junk yard soon to get 2 door panels(driver/passenger) some interior panels, roof liner, seats, hatch shocks but first i will be checking/changing all engine fluids, belts, brakes

After you square the aestethics and general maintenance, then comes the REAL fun

i thought it was a regular smiley (my fault) but my homie called me yesterday and had me text him what i needed ...ohhh i forgot to tell you..the driver side front seat is not fully bolted to the floor(two rear bolts missing) i will be doing some more checking. when we get around to going to the junk yard im going to need 2 door panels, a rear deck, 2 front pillar panels, hatch shocks and some other misc. panels and possible carpet if i cant get it clean
