Downpipe replacement?

So the talon has a couple holes in the exhaust. I ordered a SRS 3" catback and Megan 2.5/3" downpipe and the vendor told me the downpipe as been discontinued. So I have a catback on the way to my house, and so now my options are to A. Buy a 3" DP and possibly deal with boost spiking, B. buy a 2.5" DP and have a shop gouge me for off the books "cash only" cat deletion work to adapt the 2.5 DP to the 3" midpipe, or C. Having a downpipe custom made and eventually replacing the cat with a test pipe (do they even make a 3" test pipe?). WWDTD? I hardly have the tools available to remove 19 year old midwest exhaust fasteners.

Try a different vendor I just bought a megan 2.5 to 3in no cat from stm just shop around they are still out there

yes that downpipe is still around. very popular item and works perfectly with my srs cat back. fitment is great!

I just got one from Buschur racing. It's a 3" down pipe with a 2.5" neck down at the top and has no cat.
