I personally like the two tone dash of gray and black the most. I like the tan and black two tone also but the tan on the dash(air vents and control knobs) may be too ricey/tacky. Also black doors would look better with the colors you have currently. ALSO you have to buy real leather seats. Get rid of those nasty seat covers :nono:

yeah how would you paint the doors thanks for the feed back/ i know those seat covers suck but im trying to find black leather seats but cant find any

I think the tan on the dash pieces is quite clean. The vatozone seat covers don't help though. A little Black on the door panels where they match the lines of the dash would break them up a bit.

What the hell is with that janky ass wire coming through the door jamb? Are you trying to start your car on fire? WTF

Yeah, you might want to fix that and run them somewhere that won't have the possibility of burning your car to the ground. Half-assed shit like that pisses me off.

That also looks like really small wire for an amp. Use the right size for your application.

the door dosent pinch the wires dont worry/ its not half-assed i ran them up under the dash and threw the center console and the underneath the carpet so it looks good inside..... i would not beable to stand having wires just laying on the floor of my car

its the black wire at the bottom and it was 550 watt amp wire at least thats what the package said

Are those grey floormats with tan/black interior? The grey definitely throws it off.

Get matching tan or maybe black floor mats to make it flow better.

A lot of people dislike the tan/black combo, but if youve seen a GSX/GS-T/GS with the leather option, it looks nice. More "classy".

And what color are those overlays you put on the console? aluminum?

IMO, this is the best thing you can do with a 2G that has tan cloth..

Get the tan leather seats and door panels. And for those with tan leather already, leave it a lone as you can see above.

You still shouldn't run them through the door jamb. I was an MECP certified installer for years, I know what I'm talking about. Those wires should be run through a grommeted hole in the firewall, not some halfassed hide-it-in-the-fender-and-slip-it-through-the-door-jamb. You're asking for trouble, TRUST ME.

The other thing you're probably doing wrong with that wiring setup is running the power wires down the center of the car with the audio wires for the amp. They should never be within 2 feet of eachother.

Yeah I just realized where those wires were from/going, I thought you had a small sub in your door.
I would suggest pulling that wire completely out, run it on the passenger side under the plastic and carpet. As well as grommet where it runs through the firewall if you cant find a good place to poke it through.

LOL

i have the Gray/Black love it :thumb: but my 99 has the tan/black not a big fan of that but I'm getting it to work... But ya not feeling the seat covers :coy:

they are next to each other underneath the console/ but i did spread them apart underneath the back seat
You just don't get it do you? :ohdamn:

No matter what you think, running wires through the door jamb like that is a fire hazard! I'm just trying to help you make sure that you don't destroy your car.

The problem with the power and audio cables being next to each other is that you're picking up noise from the power wire. That means that your subs don't sound as good as they could. Running the audio cables down the center is fine, but you need to move that power cable somewhere else. Down either the driver or passenger side through the side sills and panels is the best.

Will you be sitting in the car enjoying the interior or will your friend be the one driving the car and enjoying the interior? Each to their own, why ask others about what you'd like to do to YOUR car?

Hey, do you think the wet bar with $3000 worth of liquor and the hot tub in my back yard too much?

(no, not my house)

honestly i dont like yellow but to each their own color I do like the work it's self though. I want to take out my door panels and paint parts of them not the whole panel that would be too much for my color tone in my car heres a pic
