Coolness!

Thing is, I've played paintball alot before. I've got me own gun (a Spyder Shutter, nothing special), and know how fast those co2 bottles run empty.

How many shots onto the intercooler would you get out of a 20oz bottle?

Also, hangin co2 bottles upside down has been known to let it leak a bit. Will the remote stop that?

Thanks again. I think this co2 kit is a great idea. If I don't make my own, I'll probably buy one off ya.

A 20 OZ should last a long time about 5 1/4 passes!
that is a myth about the bottle being upside down they will leak. I was a ref at a local feild for about 3 years and we stored our bottles upside down with no problems. Let me know if you would like a kit. If you supply your own bottle the price is about 30.00 cheaper:thumb:

yep I got my 30 oz co2 tank today and am going to a paint ball store for a remote. I am going to see if I can find some brake line or spare fuel line with fitting so I can make the "spray bar"

Another question...

How much of a difference do you expect of this? Will it be noticeable?

Never been to a track before for several reasons. Just learned to drive a stick 2 months back, and my car is mostly stock. Only performance mod is a K&N Air Filter.

Anyway, do a test run and let us hear how it goes.

OMG I got my first kit done tonight, I wanted to make my kit look and perform profesionaly so I spent the extra time to perfect the kit. The kit helps out alot more than I thought It would. IM going to try and log my runs before and after to check intake temps to see what it really has done for the car. Im also going to run the car at the track with and without the kit spraying, I really want to see what results I would get on the track from the kit! I do think its worth trying or buying. I wasmore imprest than I would have thought. PM me for prices!

First PIC I installed the kit and it works wonders. the kit is not 100% done I have some painting to do. Im going to paint the sprayer silver. so it blends in with the intercooler a litte more.

you might be thinking that the sprayer only hits the outside edge of the intercooler. but I drilled holes at a angel to make sure the center gets good and cold! it works good:thumb:

Sweet let us know how it works at the track I may be interested in a kit.

How difficult would it be to upgrade the system to work for a FMIC? Could I just buy a longer copper tube and drill some more holes?

yes you could just get a longer piece and drill holes in it. The hard part is to bend the copper tubing and make it look good! Im using a mandrel bender to bend the tube, but yes you could do it!

i will let everyone know how it works at the track. Just sucks cause I have to wait till it gets warmer now, to really find out what it can do;)

Are you talking about the nitrous tank filled with c02 and spraying when you you boost? Those will take me a while to build, takes alot of thought and fabrication. The basic kit are for sale now:thumb:

I got it to download, just had to use an FTP program. kinda looks like it's missing the intercooler, but i'm sure if you were driving the airflow would push the cold C02 right through the IC.

it does look that way! but its not, right after that video my buddy wanted to feel how cold it was and it burned his hand because it was so cold!

Twitch, Just wondering i am trying to make my own sprayer and i have a quick question. Can i mount the CO2 bottle upright or do i need to tilt it upside down to get the liquid part of the CO2?? Or what is the best way to mout my tank, thanks.

I have a question I am trying to build a kit for my friend we hooked everything up inside the garage and it sprayed out the end fine but can't figure out what to mount it with onto the intercooler we don't want to damage it what should we use????

and what to use to mount it inside the car ??

Also do we drill the holes in the hose to make it spray all over or not????

Thanks a lot for your help....

im not sure how your kit is setup? I would help you out no problem I just need some more info on your kit. Do you have any pics you can e-mail me. I can show you how to mount it just need a little more info

Well you would want to go with the smaller bore size for proball, its usally smaller than the rest!

A blow back is usally more accurate but not always!

RP is larger then proball.

I think im right its been about 3 years since I last played

I don't have any pics sorry. I haven't even tried to install it yet. We are running it into a stock gst I want to mount it upside down on the side panel. Don't know what to mount it onto that with and how can I run the hose from inside the car to the engine where should I route it through. I don't know if this helps any? And still haven't figured out what to mount it with to the intercooler.

Also do I drill the holes in the actual hose and clamp off the end?

I have not got a chance yet! the track here closed for the season its to cold but ill try and get some intake temps when I get my datalogger!

I GOT ONE!!!!! it just came in the mail today, REALY sweet kit and comes wit EVERYTHING u need. it is NICE looking to so i'll be proud to show it off. i suggest u buy a kit off of him :) (i'm sure if u have a good part off ur car ur willing to get rid of, he might make u a deal) .

GREAT PERSON TO DEAL WITH

I couldn't get it to work. Not that savvy enough. I sure would like to see some logger numbers on this thing or even a pic of what it looks like. If you just want to PM them to me. Here in FL temp plays a big role.
The theory and everything sound great but I'm one of thsoe guys gotta see it work before I invest.
Thanks George

use a carbin bit and buzz the plastic away in the hole where your intercooler is it opens it up more and alows more air in there. You get it ??

just open the dam where the air goes into the stock intercooler with like a carbine bit and grinder cuting the plastic away makeing the hole bigger alowing more air to pass through the intercooler and while your at it cut the back of the wheel well out and put some wire mesh in there should help you o2 feed through the intercooler better while moveing.:thumb:
