Intercooler pipe question

I bought a fmic kit last year. I believe i got it from punishment racing. One of the pipes has a nipple on it for a vaccum hose. It is not the j pipe right from the turbo though. I was wondering what this nipple was for, and if i can use that to hook up to a manual boost controller. Thanks

If it's the pipe right after the jpipe then yes, that's your new boost source nipple for your wastegate/mbc.

Just installed our PR kit on our 2g last weekend.

I have nothing on that right now. so i'm probably missing a line going to the wastegate right now??

Where is the line off your wastegate going? Not having anything on there will create a nice sized boost leak, your wastegate line should run from the wastegate to the MBC (if you have one) and then to that nipple.

Im currently not driving the car, so ill have to check when i go to the shop on the 5th. But i know there is nothing on that nipple and i never knew what went there. so i should run a hose off the wastegate and put a t going to the mbc and that pipe?

No T, just literally go one line from the wastegate to the wastegate side of the mbc and then from the pressure side of the mbc go straight to that nipple. Remember that nipple is bigger than most nipples on the mbc so you'll need a clamp and a hose slightly larger than the mbc nipple. We stretched our line over the PR nipple though.

You should run a hose from the nipple to the "top" nipple of the mbc and a hose from the wastegate to the "bottom" nipple of the mbc. Of course this all depends on what mbc you are running.

A legit turboxs or the turbosmart knockoff. I have the turbosmart knockoff and it turns the boost down when turning it up!

Where do i go with the factor vaccuum hose that's going to the wastegate? Do i just cap that spot now?
