Intake question?

So i took the intake off today just to clean it and the MAF and found a vacuum tube that wasnt plugged into anything. It was on the bottom side of the intake. Looks like it goes to the turbo and is connected to a 'T'. The other end of the T goes to the wastegate maybe.

What is it? and would it have done much damage not being plugged into the intake?

I currently am having a slipping clutch problem. At least i think it is. Whenever the car gets hot i seem to be slipping and it makes the car not wanna go. Ive had previous posts about it.

I honestly can't remember which one of the nipple of the bsc but the t is connected to the boost solenoid, t to the intake and the other end is to the turbo housing OR wastegate. That's why I state I can't remember.
edit: I don't know your mods list but it shouldn't cause any problems.

My car ran fine when it wasn't installed. But that has to do with intake as compared to pressure.
If it was pressure it'll be a different story. Good Luck.

The only thing you lose when you disconnect the top hose from the intake is the metered air that's bled off from the wastegate line isn't recirculated. Most people with a manual boost controller do this because they don't have a provision to recirculate that air anyway. You have to decide if you want that metered air back in your engine or not.

The stock boost solenoid is pretty pointless. They have a whole bunch of writeups on how to remove pointless stuff like that

The write-ups tend to be on how to remove the restrictor, not the BCS itself..
