could timing make this happen i not so good with the 1.8s and just need it as a dd

where should i look next what could this be will be takeing a vid latter

all stock btw
and it not throwing a code
5 sec cel on start up only time it comes on

was trying to pin point a clicking sound under load when i gave it some gas and got a mouth full of white smoke out of the intake manifold im sure there is not suppose to be smoke coming out of it so beside the gasket what else will i need to check

check compression... and if your intake manifold gasket is gone, then you cant hold boost either.

ok so im pulling head off sometime this week, to do a full gasket replacement on it, and a new timing belt. think i may order some new valves, just to be sure. i hear a clicking coming from the head from 2.2k-3k. no metal or gold flecks in oil so the lower end seems to be good. and im going to be cheaking out the cat to make sure its not clogged. seeing as i have a small hole before it that could be part of it.

and i would like any ones ideas of what else it could be!
