Intake Manifold Advice - 2g

I'm looking to rebuild my motor over the winter and was looking into various upgrades. I am trying to get some input of different types of intake manifolds that people like. There seem to be so many available, I don't know where to begin. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i would either say magnus or JMF would be the best and easiest to get your hands on.. others you can look at are the AMS and the old Venom was a good one but kinda hard to find anymore

I am running a older venom, don't really like it much. Have busted out a bunch of the welds since it has been on the car. Magnus makes some really nice ones, I would probably get one of them if i was replacing mine.

I have an old venom one too, the revised one with the rounded plenum. I have no complaints with it I guess. I haven't blown any welds and its seen nearly 30psi and 48lbs/min. I hope it holds up when I go big turbo.

You could also go with a evo3 manifold, you can find them for sale now and then for much much cheaper.

I'd save the money for other parts, its not absolutely necessary unless you know you will be pushing the stock 2g intake manifold past its limits.

What exactly are the limits for the stock intake?

There are plenty on this forum putting down 400whp with the stock intake manifold. I wouldn't worry about it until I was beyond that bench mark.

I would also stick with the stock intake manifold. IMO, it is much better for a street car, and will go beyond 450whp for sure. The velocity of air is greater with a stock manifold which equals better low and mid range than you would get out of an aftermarket one.
