installing safc2

just a quick question. i always thought 2g's cant read knock, should i even hook up the knock sensor(purple) on the safc2?

You're right, 2g's dont read knock. But you can hook it up, It will just show all different types of knock counts, That are false.

ok turned the car on and wouldnt idle and wouldnt rev, just like when the maf is unplugged. so i disconnected the safc wires from the maf wire and it ran fine. also my CEL came on but my palm broke so i couldnt read the code, i would assume its something to do with not getting a map reading. im gonna try reversing the wires(input and ouput from safc) and see if that works.

ok nevermind i didnt set it up, set it to karmen and a 4banger and all is well.
