How hard is it/what is actually involved in putting a larger wastegate flapper into your turbo.

Basically I'm asking is it worth it to spent the 60 bucks and have SB do it, or spend the 20 bucks and do it myself?

Thanks.

ive done it myself pretty easily it doesnt take much just a hammer and a screwdriver and lots of cursing. But The reason you are going to a bigger flapper must be becuase of a boost creep issue i am assuming??? If that is the Case Save your money As i have had the 34mm and 38mm and they work KINDA but not really... I ended up going back to a stock turbo housing that i ported out with the stock flapper, and just ported the crap outta the o2 wastegate area. That was the most effective. i now can hold rock solid boost to 7200 rpm from 10psi to whatever my engine can handle. Save your money.. buy a turbo timer or something bling bling LOL :thumb:
