Alright, so I bought a b16g EvoIII turbo for my 2g.

I am going to buy the 2g install kit as of right now , but I just wanted to double check before I did so. Here is a link to the kit I am going to buy:

So is that what I need to install this turbo? And are there any instructions on doing the upgrade as far as installing all this stuff that comes in this kit?

Thanks for all the help

yes make sure if you reuse your stock oil line to file the bolt holes but dont get into a rush, i broke one of my bolts into the turbo because i was in too big of a rush to file them down and thought "oh that works" and the turbo had to spend a night with the machinist. also when putting in and taking out the turbo bolts, make sure the exhaust manifold is bolted in and level, or youll end up with cross threaded threads or broken bolts, then your baby has to spend the night with the machinist again

I agree BE PATIENT, I just installed a Garret big T-28 ($810 from Forces Performance) on my car and stripped the head off an oil line that goes in two parts from the turbo to the oil cooler ($20 from Mitsubishi for the lower half of the line). If you haven't done this before its a good idea to get a friend or dad with some machine/automotive experience, just for the extra hands so you don't wind up dropping a turbo on your head.

I don't know much about the EVO G16 (as far as figment) but the T-28 took about 4 hours to put on by myself... I've give yourself a Saturday sized window to work on it.

That's actually www.turbochargers.com's kit. They are a reliable company and I would deal with them over all.

Instructions for your install can be found here, if not included: http://vfaq.com/mods/2G-16G.html

As to if that's a good kit or not, I hear good things and bad things about ALL of the kits so far. A lot of people say they are less than desirable, but they all look just about the same to me. If you're not satisfied with the way that looks, extremepsi.com makes a kit, so does SBC, road race engineering, and a lot of other companies.
