Well, I took my 16g off and ported the turbine housing to the max, I also installed a tubular header. I hadto fab my oil return line from the turbo to the oilpan because the turbo got pushed down a bit from the header and the line would not fit right.
Also, The oil feed line on the top of the turbo is leaking oil, I tightened it as much as I can, and it was also leaking from the head(top of the oil feed line.) Which I plan to replace with an rre ss braided line to the oilfilter housing.

I went and got gas and when i went to get into it, the car really didnt feel like it was quick, Like before i took it apart. I tightened everything when I installed everything so i'm not sure whats wrong? before i took it apart, as soon as it would hit like 4k rpms it would rip the tires all the way to redline in first, now it dont do that and it dont really put me in my seat either.
Could the oil leaking be a problem? I'm really stumped and I dont know what to do, But I definatly need to figure out the problem.

Thanks for helping me.

what is your boost guage doing? are you hitting full boost as quickly as you were before? sounds like something is leaking somewhere.. double check all your boost holding connections, make sure the header is seated onto your turbo properly.. you did remember to put your gasket back on right? (sounds retarded but i did it once :) )

1 of the bolts fromt the header to the turbine housing are not tightened, It is only in quater of the way :| ( I had plans on fixing it tomorrow). Also, I have the gasket on it is a paper gasket though? I also had to cut it to a larger diameter because of how much i ported my turbo.
My boost goes to 15psi but it just does not feel like i'm really getting into boost, Because it dont feel strong. I didnt really give it all it had because of the oil leak, but I can definatly tell that something is wrong.

How does the exhaust sound? Can you hear an exhaust leak? Open the hood with the car running and feel around the turbo/header for air (don't touch anything obviously).

definately recheck your turbo to maniflod connection, sounds like your exhaust is going where it shouldnt be. why are you using a paper gasket and not a copper one? were you using the same type of gasket before you put on the new manifold?

how do you do a boost leak test? pardon my inexperience but does that mean just go over all of the lines involving the turbo or what?

I used a paper gasket because thats what came with it :thumbdown Two paper gaskets actually. I think i'm going to go buy all metal gaskets and uninstall everything then reinstall everything over again. I used metal gaskets before I had replaced the manifold with a header.
I'll try to make a boost leak tester today. I know I have a bad exhaust leak at my test pipe to catback, But that should not effect it? I am still waiting for my RnR catback to come in the mail to complete my exhaust. Also, Like I said, I did no tighten one of the bolts to the turbine housing either. I'll hafto re do everything today and i'll see how it is.

An exhaust leak is part of it, but if you are leaking oil at the head, your turbo is not getting enough oil through the feed line. Don't drive until you fix that oil leak, because your turbo is not getting very much oil. Oil not getting to the turbo will make your car feel slower.

Sorry, This thread was started a long time ago and since then i've had 2 other setups on that car, And two other dsm's..

Anyways, The one you want to tap into has an allenwrench bolt in it, Mine was in the front I believe, It looks like it's on an angle facing down.
