Post back when you do, also post back after you change the stock bov if things change. I can honestly said I have not run into anyone here with your setup able to hold 12psi to redline, maybe people don't talk about it unless they have problems. My 16g was able to hold 14psi but that was after an extensive port job, it used to creep to 25psi with 2.5" exhaust and a hi flow cat. I'm curious to know what made your setup different so keep us posted.

I am not on the stock 2G Bov. I am on the TurboXS H-34 Racing Bypass Valve. Ill give it a few more test runs and post back the results. Also im gonna do a boost leak test like you said. I wont be surprised if the results come out negative. :dsm: :talon: :laser:

Hey. I wrote a thread on solving boost creep on the EVO3 which I am sure you know about oldman. You have actually linked it to a few other threads. Just to state for the record, I did run without the MBC hooked up after my port jobs and held 12psi in all gears. I think like you said, people don't talk about it or never run that low of boost. :D

Good deal, I've always said it's in the porting. I'm glad that you guys are coming out, I just got into an argument in another thread who claimed it can not be done on an EVO3. :sneaky:

well if the wastegate is set at 12 psi then he cannot set the boost with a boost controller to 10 psi. on my t 25 i had all the mods and it held 16 psi to almost redline. i have full 3 in and no cat or resonators. so at 12 psi he shouldnt have any boost creep if theres a good port job. if he doesnt have a cat that will be the biggest reason why he wont creep. get a logger if you dont have one already and raise ur boot a 1 psi each time to make sure your not lean. you should be able to boost 15-16psi with no lean conditions with a new fpr and 255 pump.
