hey all
So today i was working at the shop i work at and i was trying to finsh up installing all my new stuff
-Evo III 16g Turbocharger
-2G Install Kit
-New SBR DSM Cast Manifold
-Set of 650 CC injectors
-Walbro 255 fuel pump
-A-pexi S-AFC II
-Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator
-SBr SS fuel lines and o-ringed fittings
-Autometer carbon fiber fuel pressure guage
-Digital Tuning Inc. software and Obd II logger cable.
all that stuff but i have a couple of problems
1st. my fuel pump isnt working. I went to hook the gas lines up under the car. and i turned the key to "on" not starting it to check to see if the pump was working. i didnt hear anything. so i checked the voltage. then sending unit is gettin power but not the pump?WTF there the same plug thing this is how i know. so what could be wrong? a fuse or relay maybe? i took the pump out again and checked my connections and tryed again but no love... so i dont know. any help?
2.i have done a lot of research on how to tune with the safc. ive been to rre and vfaq and seen the diffinitive guide. but its kinda confusing. i uploaded the pocketlogger software on my pda and i think it will work i havent tried yet. so all that to say can anyone give me some ball park figures on my afc settings? im gonna use my logger to fine tune it but a close figure to start would be great.
also another afc question does it have the ability to have 2 sets of data? i belive it does but im unsure. like is it possible for me to tune 1 setting for power and the other for gas miliage?
3. All i have left to do is hook up the oil and water lines to the turbo. now i got a new ss water line from SBR and im pretty sure that just screws into the turbo right? what about the oil line? Ie read the 16g install on vfaq but maybe i skipped over it.
4. as stated above i bought a autometer fuel pressure gauge to go with my regualtor. but it didnt come with any fittings to mount it on the regulatior ive seen this though so how can i do it? also the only fititngs it came with were compression fittings but the instructions say dont use compression fittings? so why the hell do they give them to you????
5. any last second ideas or tips? thanks so much for your help. Im hoping to get her done tomorrow! and to be boostin again !
