So i understand fully how a boost controller works first of all:thumb: So when i install any type of a mbc i've tried ebay cheapies to a buddies hallman pro, boost skyrockets like i have wastegate unhooked or something. anybody had this happen before?is it my custom j-pipe?wastegate flapper?o2 housing being ported letting to much exhaust gas by? i'm sure it's something simple i just cant figure it out any help is appreciated thank's

You wouldn't happen to be using the same pieces of vacuum lines would you? It is possible that you have a blockage of some sorts in the line, where it may have collapsed or somthing. It would almost have to be the boost controller. If you run a solid line from your pressure source to your wastegate and get appoximately 10psi, then install a manual boost controller and get crazily high boost levels, there is only one thing you have changed, and that would be adding the boost controller.

New vaccum lines every time. I'll try another mbc see if it changes... again. I think i now hold the record for mbc installs
 
Well if it's installed correctly, and the boost is skyrocketing like the gate has no signal, either the MBC is faulty or you need to adjust it properly.

It's a Hallman Pro correct?
