This started on the 7th. Late was the 9th. You said 2 day shipping. Even 9 days was two days ago. And seriously… no response for that time and this is the first mention of UPS. You specifically said on the 9th that it was picked up and shipped...

I never got what I paid for. This guy isn’t responding anymore either.

Just FYI the guy who makes the NXS boost controller is/was a DSMer and if you tell him you’re a DSMer/from DSMTuners he’ll give you a (slight) discount. He builds these by hand and stuff happens. I spent $2500+ on a “reputable big name” company...

Not exactly. Fuel cut is based solely on airflow. It's the tuning solution along with injectors etc that allow you to work around this.
    • Fuzzy
Ummm… isn’t that the whole point? Am I just using the wrong words? I mean maybe not just a pump but injectors too. I’m pretty sure that solves the inability to deliver enough fuel for the boost.
    • Fuzzy
Ended up returning to stock. Just couldn’t handle the boost and fuel cut. I’ll try again with better fuel delivery and a better boost controller.

Look again. The end cap has 3 screws. That's not where it mounts. The mounting flange should have 2 screws.

You are correct, the 3 phillips screw are on the earlier version. The latest version does not have them. Both have the same mounting points.

No shit… thanks for checking! I have so many throttle bodies that look alike I guess I assumed.

No, mine was just a strange find. I found it through a google search. It appears to be the exact same. Just different model and half to a 10th of the price. I think STM has it for like $400. It was just crazy that the stores couldn’t find it in...

To say it doesn’t work for shit? That’s more believable. Lol. As of today, turned all the way down, I can’t complain. I haven’t reconnected a boost gauge though. All I can say is I’m not doing 100% on injectors or making things go, “BANG”...
    • Fuzzy
Maybe. I did learn quite a bit so not totally disappointed. One may say that… or one may say, “they all work the same. Paying extra is like having your water poured.” I should have opened it first since I didn’t pay to not have to. HeheAlso...

So… AC321 Idle Air Control Valve. Currently appears to show up for around $40 at autozone if you search google, but doesn’t show up in stores. If you ask for a 2g DSM IAC you will be pointed to something that costs 3x more. But… if you order the...

No pictures yet… BUT! I did open the boost controller and found the ball in the wrong valve next to the spring instead of under it. I also found the spring pinned under threading so as not to be as loose as the lowest setting should allow. No...

DO NOT ADJUST THE IDLE. The problem is due to something that you touched during the boost controller install and adjusting the idle will, at best, hide the symptoms of the problem and at worst make it worse. Address the boost leak and do not...
    • Fuzzy
Unfortunately I bought it full of leaks.I took it into a mechanic to replace the interior fuse harness. He let me know that he raised the idle to 1000 rpm because it wasn’t idling correctly. I then did boost leak checks and plugged all the...
    • Fuzzy
How well did you plug it? That little nipple is after the MAF so if it's not sealed 100%, it will suck in extra vacuum from there but that would cause a high idle. Also what setting did you apply to the controller? Usually they have small bleed...
    • Fuzzy
Alright, I did it. I removed the T connecting the wastegate to the turbo. I ran a vacuum line from the wastegate to the boost controller and another from the turbo to the boost controller. I also plugged the port that was going to the intake. Now...
