I'm back once again....Ok now my problem is i took off the needles from the gauge's and now none of them seem to work except the MPH, RPM, and Water temp.

Any ideas of how to fix this or should I just get a new cluster or leave the old one and get after market gauges.

Please guys gimme your opinion as to what i should do...Thanks

1. Gas gauge: Go fill up your car with gas. Put the gas needle on Full.

2. Boost gauge: Does it really matter? It's useless anyway. The only thing I can think of trying is to take the needle off and try putting in different places a few times.

3. Oil pressure: After driving the car around for a bit, take the needle off and place it near the halfway mark.

Make sure all of the needles aren't binding or getting caught on anything. Sorry, I know this isn't much help but it's all I can think of and you sound pretty desperate for help.

Edit: Also check the back of the cluster and look for anything odd. Maybe somehow you messed up some of the wiring on the back? You can also check the connector for the oil pressure sender at the filter housing.

Make sure your cluster is pushed ALL the way back. The connections need to make contact with your cluster.

Are any of your lights on? battery? brake?

Did you install aftermarket overlays by chance? Why did you remove your needles? Did you do this with the power applied to the car? Check your fuses.
Check to make sure that you didn't push the needles in too far otherwise the base of the needles will have friction against the overlays (even more so with aftermarket overlays).

Nothing aftermarket. Reason i took off all needles was to sand down the back of the gauges faces..And i checked to see if i pushed down to hard and that wasn't it. And no i didn't do anything while the car was on, I had take off the whole cluster prior to taking off the gauge faces and needles.

Fixed by your directions..=]] thanks ... and gas gauge no word yet because gas here in Miami is really expensive. So i will maybe try it tomorrow...Do i take off the needle or just push it up to full when i fill the tank ??

Hey, good to hear that I helped! For the gas gauge, take the needle off at home. Drive to the gas station and fill up. Place the needle on the gauge pointing directly at full. That should do it.
