can you guys look at the pics and tell me if the pistons are ok because the pistons did slap the valves when the timing belt broke. please.

It is really hard to tell from the pictures. They don't look too horrible I guess. But if you are questioning the strength of them then I would replace them.

The sections on the piston where the valves hit will create a hot spot. Personally I would not run it but I have seen people sand them smooth to run it as a stock block.

Looks like you also have bent valves, either buy a stock long block to drop it in or begin the rebuilding process.

clean up the indented areas remove any burrs try to smooth it out and you should be ok.
