If I have no cat but im running stoch ( perfect air fuel ratio right?) would I pass the emissions part of the test if they dont look under the car?

Check your smog laws. If it is absolutely, imperatively, mandatory (like smog nazi Cali), I would not even think twice about replacing the cat before I go to the smog shop.

Just take it off later and keep in your toolshed for the next 2 years. It takes 10 minutes to replace it if you have a test pipe in its place.

Ask around man.. MOST places in Texas dont sniff.. But alot of places are dicks and climb under there and check shit out...

Yeah. You could check out perfect but if you don't have a cat. in some states they won't allow it.

I have the cat in my garage but id have to cut off the flange and place a 3 hole flange on it cause my exhaust is 3 holed not 2 like on the cat. I guess that would be the easiest way to go.

Thanks
