Hi everyone, I didn't have any luck searching for this topic so, here it is...I am having a 4g63 AWD (6 bolt) conversion done to my Avenger and my question is will it pass inspection? The only upgrades that I'm getting done that I could think of that will affect emission testing, will be a T-28, FMIC, fuel system upgrades, turbo back exhaust, and that's about all that I can think of at the moment. I don't see why it wouldn't but for anyone who's upgraded their DSM, did you guys have problems with passing inspections in the past or present?

Thanks,
John

Swapping engines wont make you fail inspection. HOWEVER, you may want to tell the inspection place the engine you swapped to. During emissions, depending how they are where your located, the engine size must be entered into the computer for emmision testing. Other wise should be fine.

Good to hear! I'm swapping out the 6g73/A604 slushbox, Louisiana is fairly lax on that stuff and I'll be moving to Hawaii by the end of the year and so that is my biggest worry.
