Hey,

For all of you all with the innovative lc-1,where are you mouting the actual control unit? I'm trying to find a spot on my 92 gsx. Would the firewall work? If any of you guys have this wideband can you post a pic of where you installed it?

Mine's by the power steering reservoir. It was a spot that stayed relatively clean compared to the rest of the engine bay. The wires are ran next to the brake lines from there up to the rubber steering boot where they run through a small slit in it.

Hmmm that would work perfectly for me,since i dont have power steering. Where is your wideband o2 mounted? I wonder would the wideband o2 wires reach down behind the flex section

You want to mount that sensor as far forward as possible, do it before the flex section. Also, do not mount that sensor between the 5pm and 7 pm locations. As for the control unit, zip tie it wherever you want.

ok cool yeah i just dont want it to be to close to burn the sensor up. If you could find a pic that would be great

Found the photos.

(Excuse the oil leak. It's been fixed.)
Wow my car was dirty back when these were taken. (November '09)

Sensor is tucked right next to the reservoir. You can see the wires run back towards the firewall from there.
