Quick question. When calibrating is the push button mean to push 1x to turn on and then push 1x to turn off? For me the only way to get the LED to blink is to hold the push button (ON) letting go will result in no LED light (OFF). Is this correct?

I will only do mine with the sensor in the exhaust if the car hasn't been driven for more than 24 hours. I believe the tech guy at Innovate told me to let it sit at least 8 if you're not removing the sensor, but I figure after 24 there should be nothing left in the exhaust. I've done it a few times this way with no issues. And some I've removed it afterward to verify it calibrated correctly.

pressa nd hold for 3 seconds or until the light starts to blink then let go of the button. It will go through a series of flashing and will turn solid red when it's done and ready to be used.

It's not hard and it should do that if that switch and light are connected properly and grounded.

Otherwise what you can do is remove the sensor from the exhaust and remove the fuse from the lc-1 and turn the key on and then off after a few seconds and then put the fuse back in and turn the car to the on but, not running position and wait for that light to stay solid red. When it's done let the sensor cool off and reinstall it into the exhaust and it will be good also.
