Inner fender correct position

who knows for sure if inner fender should hide over fender, or it should look like this and protect fender a little bit?

It is supposed to be tucked under the fender, not like how you have it right now.

User Manual also shows a 3M double-sided tape, why?

I don't know I always just tucked them up on the inside, but do whatever you think works/looks best to you. I personally would rather tuck it up in there than have some double sided tape holding it up.

I tuck them inside the lip, no tape or anything.
