Inmpossible To Find Headers

H E L P............Own a 97 Eclipse Spyder GS non-turbo 2.4L (4g64). I have been looking for months to find performance headers but nobody has for this freaking engine type. Two sites had something that supposed to fit my engine but when I call the manufacturer (flowtech) they told me they dont make headers for my engine.
Anybody knows where can get headers???????????????????????????????????????????????

Everything in the link that was posted is for the 420A N/A 2G Eclipses; he has the 4G64 N/A (Spyder).

If you can't find anything for Spyders, look for headers for N/A 4G63s (1G N/As). The heads on 4G63s and 4G64s are interchangeable, so at least the flange will work; you may need a little custom work to match the two sections of exhaust, but that shouldn't be expensive - and I'm not 100% sure if you'll even need it.

In other words the heads of the 1G non-turbo are the same as the 2G 4g64 ?????

No, not the same, but interchangeable. You have a SOHC head, whereas most of the 1G 4G63s had DOHC (although a few of the 1.8L were SOHC I believe).

At least I have to make sure that the "engine end" part will fit and the other end I maybe able to custom fit it like you said......all these links that you gave me though are all for the 2.0and not for the 1.8

It doesn't matter, ANY 4G63 head will fit on ANY 4G64 block and vice versa. All of those headers will at least bolt up to your head; like I said, I'm not sure about the other end.

Go over to www.club3g.com or www.eclipseforums.org. Get some that were made for the 3G, they have the 4g64 too.
