The stock fuel rail is fine. There is no reason to change that unless you are running -10an fuel lines.

I run a -8 feed from the pump and -6 return and see no reason in changing rails.

If you get 550's, you probably won't have much growth room. I'd recommend 660's or larger if you ever plan on upgrading your turbo.

As stated before, you'll want to get an AFPR (Aeromotive is a popular brand) for that 255 fuel pump. And also, the stock fuel rail is fine for almost all the people on this forum. The only reason to upgrade would be really high HP numbers, looks, or yours is broken.

And you'll also need something to control those bigger injectors. If I remember correctly, the SAFC is only good for up to 660 injectors. If you get bigger injectors, you'll need something like DSMlink to control them. I'd also recommend getting a logger if you don't have one (DSMlink is also a logger as well as a tuner). Other popular ones are Palm based .

I started with 660cc injectors for my EvoIII 16g. That and a 190 lph pump was pretty good for what I had. I only changed to 1000cc injectors because someone stole mine and I also planned on upgrading turbos.

As for the fuel rail, the only one I would buy would be the Magnus Motorsport -10 feed/ return rail, but I haven't planned on going to 600 hp.

yeah i already ordered my afpr with the installation kit and the gauge from extreme psi and the fpr had -6 feed line or something like that

Not to high jack the thread but, you are saying you got a feed to the fpr that is a -6 or you are getting a -6 feed from the filter to the rail?

where would be the best place to tune the injectors

I'm not quite sure what you mean by this.

what are the best injectors out there?

There really is no "best" out there. There are brands that are more popular, such as FIC and PTE. From what I've read and people I've talked to, FIC is the way to go. They are flow matched before being sold so that they are with 1% or 2% of each other.

It looks like he just said that his AFPR has -6 feed and return ports.

i think so its the one from extreme psi http://www.extremepsi.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=17336&cat=310&page=1 do u think this one would be good enough or should i get the one with two -10AN inlet and -6AN return port

I think that should be good enough, especially if you're just running a 16g.

sorry been doin to many things at once..but what i meant about tunning the injectors i actually meant what would be the best website that do computer chips for our cars, cause after i install the injectors im gona need a tunning so my computer recognizes the new injectors. can we even get computer chips for our cars?

Our fuel rails are a -8 on the inside. So, there is no point in having a -10 unless go upgrade to the magnus fuel rail.

Also, you are not pumping enough fuel to need that hose size.
The only reason I upgraded mine was because I had all the materials. Not to mention my stock line had a bunch of kinks in it.

Well, here's another thing to think about. Do you need just tuning (for the injectors) or do you need tuning and a logger (which is a highly recommended thing to have)? There are a few options out there.

You could get an SAFC (if you stick with 660's or smaller) and then get a Palm and use that as a logger.

There's a thing called Keydiver (or some people screw it up and call it Keydriver) that you could get. I'm not too familiar with this one but there's a bunch of threads on here about it. The owner still recommends using an SAFC with this and also requires a Pocketlogger (Palm or computer based). This also (from what I'm reading) requires a '95 EPROM ECU, but it looks like most purchases can be bought to include the ECU.

Another option is DSMlink. This is a tuner and logger all-in-one. I have this along with many other members of this forum and it is an incredible thing to have. You can control so much with it and it is not hard to learn to use. The only drawback of this options is it is more expensive than the other options and also requires a '95 EPROM ECU. Plus, you have to buy a laptop to run the program and tune/log/etc.

Here is a comparison of Keydiver and DSMlink - http://www.dsmchips.com/dsmlink.html

There may be others out there that I'm forgetting or have never heard of. There's a lot to look into and a lot to think about. After saying that, my decision was easy - DSMlink. It does everything! :rocks: The expense is well worth it and you will be able to easily transfer it to another 2G if you so choose to.
