Injectors maybe??

I have a 1997 eagle talon. It is the 420a. It is completely stock. The engine is making a loud noise. A mechanic said could be crankshaft loose or something. Im pretty sure i need a new engine. But the question i have is what could make my car sputter. I know there is a misfire in cylinder two. i hooked a computer to it. But it drive fine until i get on it or if i go up a big hill. If i push the gas pedal far in the car will start sputtering and wont go. It just misfires alot after i push the pedal far down. Do you have any idea what it could be. Thanks

Blown head gasket that is leaking water into the cylinder.

start here....with the plugs. they are the cheapest fix. I have run into coils going bad alot, though.
