scarborough,
i got my injector out for cleaning and notice the plastic cap at the tip(the end were the fuel spray) of the injector is cracked. can i just buy that little plastic cap or do i have to buy the whole injector? not sure what type of injector i have but the electric connector is blue...oem blue top? i also got some other injector from a stock tsi talon, but the tip of the injector is abit longer and the o-ring on the top is orange, anyone know what those are?

I don't think it matters at all. I've been told that you can run with no cap at all. I believe that it's a 'pintle' or 'pintel' cap. If you want one that's not cracked then you can just replace the cap, you don't need a brand new injector.

If they are the stock denso blue-tops the corresponding numbers on the injector should be B450L with the injectors-casting #INP-009. I assume since you pulled them out of the motor this is what they are. What are the numbers on these unknown injectors? The o-ring is orange or the connector?

The plastic cap on the end of your injector is a pintle cap and they can be replaced. Pintle caps holds the lower o-ring in place and insulates the seat from the engine heat. It also protects the pintle from damage while the injector is removed.
