Ok I have a good one for you. I have been having this problem for about a week now. The car will start and run fine cold and as long as it stays running its fine. But after its warmed up and I shut it off then try to restart it, it will run very rough and throws a code 41 which is injector code. I've narrowed it to the cylinder 3 injector. Now here is the wierd thing sometimes if I keep driving it while its running rough all of the sudden it will begin to drive like normal. Shut it off and start it again runs like normal. It's driving me nuts need help. I've replaced the coil park and power transistor. The ecu appears to be in good shape. There is power to the injector, but I don't know exactly how to test the resistor box. Also I don't have gobs of money just buy this or that to just try it. I would really like help to narrow it down to one thing or the other not answers like get another ecu or injectors or resistor box.. Please help

Make sure the metal injector clip is attached properly.

The clips are missing and when it's running rough I can unplug the connector and plug it back in no change

Then you just diagnosed it. You have a bad injector. Spend some time making some posts so you can become a proven member. Then you can pick up some used injectors in the classifieds section.

could an injector open back up even if its bad? Thats the confusing thing when it runs fine and i unplug the connector it bogs down like when its not running right. Plug it in back to normal. Also it only starts acting up after the car is warm and shut off. I'm not saying anything against anyone I just wanna be through

The injector itself could be clogged or dirty. When you plug it back in, the fresh gas might be cleaning it out just a little and making it work right momentarily. That's my best guess.

Check the resistance of the injector. It should be 2-3ohms. Odds are when it gets warm it's losing contact. Check it cold and then check it when the car starts to misfire and run rough. Easy to test. Just check across the 2 terminals.
